The connection between us is so much more than physical

My longing for your intellect and your imagination is equal

There is no denying that life is hard right now

It is a humbling bow

That we must take as we face the disappointment

Of an empty room with no applause

But the show must go on

My love for you runs further than skin deep

And I’m sorry if I tried to spark electricity

To start again that fire burning
